Robopup                           robopup is a robotic dog/puppy.  its      program is designed to allow it to move around the room without bumping into things. and when it finds a dark place it goes to sleep, snores, and wakes up when its light.  it can turn its head and look in any direction.

Precision writing machine       this machine is designed to create precision marks on a clay disk. its origens lie in ancient china where it was used for the same pupurposes.

 

Robopup V2                     This robopup is wiimote controlled. i used a bluetooth usb, glove pie, and BricX CC. to do the same link your wiimote and brick to your computer. (to link your wiimote just search for bluetooth devices on your computer and at the same time press the connect button under the battery cover on the wiimote---if your bluetoth program requires a pass code or another kind of code then click skip) then in steering wheel "you can find it in wiimote scripts"  ignore the instructions at the top and then add this EXACT program at the bottom

 

(note that the raw force numbers will varry from wiimote to wiimote so use the debug box at the top to see the value of the angle you want---key 8 is up---key 4 is left)

Speed Finder

seeing as it does not use radar or tell how fast your going i wasnt sure what to call it. but anyway this is my nxt speed finder gun. it does basically what it says. you first tell it which way the somthing is going and then you pull and hold the trigger. when somthing goes by it tells you how fast its moving. then release the trigger to reset it.

it works by timming how long it takes to get from one sensor to the next. the distance between sensors is about a foot so i simply use the math blocks to multiply the time by 5280 "which is how many feet are in a mile" then then i divide the result by 60 to get Miles Per Hour

Flight Simulator

this is a flight simulator. it acts just as a true plane would do in the way it flies. there is no .rbt file for it because i use glove pie and brickX CC to control it with a joystick. the plane stays level when you go up and down but will tilt side to side when it turns.

because i built it with digital designer there are no runways but you could buid some to go around it or you could put it through about a 3X3 inch hole in a box with only a little of the top motor sticking out.

NXT Firefly

this is my nxt firefly. it moves forward while it opens and closes its shell. it makes beeping noises and using the light sensor it lights up its back end. when it hears somthing it speeds up and when it sees somthing it stops.

incase you cant tell the back end is covered with see through bricks so that the red light of the lightsensor makes it glow.

 

 

NXT Movie Projector

this is my NXT Portable Movie Projector.
it uses the light sensor light to project the image from the reel onto the wall or screen. the reel motor is controled by the left and right nxt buttons which fastsorward and rewinind. it can also be paused and played with the touch sensor.

for a reel i just draw pictures like on a flip book with a sharpie on serane rap and i tape the end together.

the project would normaly have all 4 walls but i took 3 off for the pictures

i rebuilt it on digital deseigner becouse i find the pictures are much clearer though i do apollogize for the red spots in some pictures. i used a trial software to convert the pictures and i edited out the watermarks
